First-time player onboarding
The fastest path from first visit to first login: download the official files, complete the initial setup, patch the client, and start the game.
Let the launcher finish its update process before starting the game.
If something fails, check Status before reinstalling the client.
Recommended onboarding order
Follow this order for the smoothest first launch on the current release.
- Open the download center and get the official launcher files.
- Prepare the client in a clean folder with normal read and write access.
- Run the launcher and allow patching to complete before closing it.
- Open the game after the update finishes and use install help if anything fails.
